The Strictly Necessary Cookies on the Torchlight application may include:

Domain Purpose/Description Brand subdomain. A cookie that remembers the user’s brand to ensure they receive the correct branding pages prior to login. TOS and privacy policy acceptance. Checks for the users’ consent of the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Locale. Maintains user language preference. (I.e., English or French) Session. Creates a session ID to remember who the user is while traveling throughout the site. Registered user. Maintains whether user has an account or not.

3.2 Third Party & Analytics Cookies

Torchlight utilizes analytic cookies from third parties as part of the service we provide to users and clients. We may use these Cookies to collect information about your use of the Torchlight application to help create reports and statistics on the performance. This information enables us to improve our application. Analytics Cookies collect information such as your IP address, type of device, operating system, referring URLs, country information, date and time of page visits, and pages visited. The information allows us to count our audience size, see the overall patterns of usage, helps us record any difficulties you have and show us whether our advertising is effective or not.

The Third Party and Analytics cookies used may include:

Name/Company Purpose/Description
Google Analytics Aggregate analytic data for internal reporting.
LinkedIn Aggregate analytic data from marketing advertisements and outreach from LinkedIn such as clicks and views. The main purpose is to identify users that visit the site from LinkedIn when they clicked on Torchlight post or ad in LinkedIn.
Intercom Used to serve up relevant content inside the Torchlight site and for email communications about Torchlight events and content.

4. Managing Cookies

When you visit the site, you will be presented with the option to opt-in or out of certain cookies used throughout the site. If you wish, you can edit your preferences later, they can be accessed through your Account Settings.
